EAJ RECOVERY MISSION - NOVEMBER, 2009
In November 2009 ALCI commissioned Kenn Borek Air to recover a DC-3T aircraft that had endured a CFIT accident almost 1 year prior to KBAL's arrival. Kenn Borek Air's 12 person recovery crew, led by Gerald Cirtwell, would spend the next 25 days stationed at a remote field camp located on the eastern side of the Antarctic Plateau.
This is the story of the successful recovery effort.

Kenn Borek was not only a successful business man, he was also a community leader honored for his significant contribution to his community with the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002.

WHAT'S NEW
NEW CORPORATE OFFICE
KBAL has recently moved its Corporate offices to 808 - 55th AVE NE. This has allowed our Maintenance department to expand into our previous space and increase its ability to handle aircraft through the hangar. We are still happy to answer your calls at 403-291-3300 and transfer you to all the same people with whom you are familiar; they may just be sitting at a different location. All our company mail will still be delivered to 290 McTavish Road NE.
ANTARCTIC SEASON 2012
Fourteen aircraft headed south to start our 28th Antarctic Season. We wish all the crews safe flying.
