Bob Heath

After years of flying in the bush and instructing throughout Canada, Bob Heath joined KBAL in 1992. Bob lived and breathed all things aviation, and he was constantly in search of opportunities to learn and pass along his knowledge to others. The wisdom and guidance that Bob so willingly offered have touched the lives of countless people within KBAL and the Canadian aviation industry. To say that Bob had a gift with words is an understatement; that his greater talent was in making people feel valued is evident to all who knew him.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Bob Heath will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 3:00 p.m. at the Catholic Church (Igloo church)

After the service there will be a reception in the Community Hall at the Midnight Sun Complex
Everyone is welcome

Captain Robert Murray Heath

November 6, 1957-January 23, 2013

Bob Heath did what many only yearn for, he followed his dream to be a Pilot, Adventurer, Husband, Father, and Best Friend to all he met. His flying career brought him many adventures to all parts of our world, many with his work family at Kenn Borek Air. Bob was always willing to openly share all his wisdom, sense of humour and empathy with all that joined his journey. Grandpa Bob, (Captain Bob) leaves a path of admiration and inspiration for all those he knew. Always willing to share his expertise and inspired to absorb new knowledge every day, he would always say “strive to learn something new each day of your life.” Bob traveled his path through love for his family, love for his work, and love for all the people of all the communities he visited.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Robert Heath Sr., mother Elizabeth ‘Betty’ nee Hunt, and his beloved sister Gail Haslett.

Bob is survived by wife Lucy Heath and their children Angela Sinclair, Helen (Joe), Warren Geno; six grandchildren (Joe Jr., Deidre, Chanel, Garret, Chase, Gates); seven great-grandchildren (Chenaya, Delareese, Marshall, Gordon, Miguel, Tyler, Rainalee); nephews Cory (Erica) Domenichini, Kerry Haslett; and niece Kelly Haslett.
